BACK TO THE GRINDSTONE

Now that training is over and we’re back from Finse, the team is back to work on planning.

Over the past weeks, we’ve been:

  • Speaking with leading glaciologists about ice flow and expected conditions around the Beardmore Glacier

  • Reviewing super-detailed satellite imagery of our route and proposed ending point near the foot of Mount Hope

  • Opening conversations with Antarctic logistics providers about routes, safety, and viability

  • Speaking to the relevant permitting authorities to understand the best approach

This journey becomes more real with every day.
